Strategic IT Management and Governance

The strategic management and governance of IT remains one of the foremost challenges for IT organizations. The Strategic IT Management and Governance Track invites papers on theoretical and practical approaches to: (1) IT governance-principles and structures through which the organization manages mission, roles, and responsibilities; and (2) strategic IT management- processes by which the enterprise manages strategy and its implementation through planning, performance, and results. The theme of this year's conference emphasizes the accountability of IT organizations for delivering value to each stakeholder. Papers that contribute towards this theme are especially encouraged, although papers that address other perspectives are also welcomed.
